Engage With Grace
Broaching potentially uncomfortable topics in actionable ways is something that we obsess over every day – from describing what to expect from a colon cancer screening to exploring people’s barriers to antidepressant medication adherence.
That's why we are proud supporters of Engage With Grace – an online, viral movement founded by Matthew Holt (of The Health Care Blog and Health 2.0) and Alexandra Drane to help us all better understand, communicate, and have honored our end-of-life wishes.
Engage With Grace has gained great momentum in part because it's based on a simple concept: offer five questions about end-of-life preferences that people should be able to answer for themselves, for their loved ones, and feel inspired to pass on to their book group, their colleagues – anyone – to think about and answer. And then, with these preferences stated, feel confident that they will be honored.
Let's support each other in helping start these difficult – but most important – conversations. You can see Alex describe the notion behind Engage With Grace here.
