Marc A. Jeffreys
Senior Vice President, Consumer Markets
Marc Jeffreys is responsible for Eliza’s strategy and planning for Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual plan clients – particularly in the context of health care reform’s shift towards consumerism.
He brings deep experience in the health insurance market, including his prior role as Director and Head of Marketing Strategy in the Direct Marketing & Analytics division of Aetna. In that role he was responsible for marketing strategy and planning for Aetna’s individual Medicare, individual voluntary and group retiree business lines.
Prior to Aetna, Marc served as Director of Investment Product Marketing at The Hartford Financial Services Company, at which he was responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs in support of a wide range of The Hartford’s retail investment products.
Marc received his Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College. He has also worked as a professional juggler – a metaphorically perfect experience for someone in his position.
