Culture of innovation
Eliza was initially founded as a research and development entity, focused on furthering the research of CalTech's speech and pattern recognition group. In 1999, the team made the decision to transition to production and focus on the healthcare market.
With no other models to look to for guidance, Eliza's co-founding team learned from experience, building the speech recognition engine's capabilities with each call and developing best practices designed to encourage people to talk about their health with a computer. Today, Eliza leads the industry in number of applications, sophistication of applications, and most importantly, results for the customers we serve.
